Canton ISD issued the following announcement.
Leah is a seventh-grade student at Canton Junior High. She enjoys all classes at CJH but if she had to pick one she would pick history. Leah is not sure what job she would be interested in when she graduates but she knows she wants to get married one day, as family is very important to her. Hobbies that she is involved in is being a scout member, enjoys horseback riding, and wants to learn how to barrel race. She also enjoys planting and caring for flowers in the garden at home.
Something interesting about Leah people may not know is that she has five siblings who all attend school at Canton ISD. Her first experience with public school was last year when she moved to Canton. Leah says she is shy but always willing to make friends. She admits that she is more likely to open up around smaller groups.
Mrs. Boyd, Canton Junior High Principal adds that “Leah is a sweet young lady. She sees the good in others and is eager to make new friends. She loves learning and is a hard worker.” Mrs. Boyd also said that she believes Leah “can accomplish anything because she has the right attitude and determination”.
