Lance Gooden has served in the U.S. Congress since 2019, representing Texas's 5th District. Before this, he was a member of the Texas House of Representatives from 2017 to 2019. Born in Nashville, Tennessee, in 1982, Gooden resides in Terrell and holds degrees from the University of Texas, Austin.
