On February 12, 2025, Gooden tweeted about NGO leaders filing a lawsuit against the Trump Administration. He stated: "It’s clear: The only reason these NGO leaders filed a lawsuit against the Trump Administration is because they profit off of illegal immigration." On February 13, 2025, Gooden addressed censorship concerns in another tweet. He accused President Biden of pressuring Big Tech to suppress conservative voices and mentioned actions taken against former President Trump.

Later on February 13, 2025, Gooden called for an audit by DHS Secretary Kristi Noem regarding NGOs at the southern border. He urged for a comprehensive review by stating: "I urge DHS Secretary @KristiNoem to initiate a comprehensive audit of NGOs at the southern border." He highlighted financial allocations made by FEMA from 2021-2024 amounting to over $2.4 billion for services to illegal aliens and stressed investigating wasteful practices.
