On January 30, 2025, Lance Gooden addressed the topic of immigration policies under President Joe Biden's administration. He stated that he worked diligently to "expose, hold accountable, and defund the NGOs" that he claims incentivize illegal immigration. According to him, with allies now present in the White House and at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), "ALL grant funding to NGOs is FROZEN."
