Lance Gooden comments on Trump's influence and political shifts in recent tweets

Lance Gooden, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Texas' 5th district since 2019, has shared several tweets expressing his views on recent political developments. Gooden, who succeeded Jeb Hensarling and previously served in the Texas House of Representatives, voiced support for former President Donald Trump and criticized actions related to COVID-19 management.

On December 5, 2024, Gooden tweeted "More evidence that President Trump is Making America Great Again even before taking office." This statement reflects his endorsement of Trump's influence on national affairs.

The following day, December 6, 2024, he expressed criticism towards Dr. Anthony Fauci and President Joe Biden's potential pardon for him. In his tweet "Because of Dr. Fauci... - Small business owners were jailed - Children were masked - Grandparents passed away alone How does Joe Biden want to reward him? With a pardon.", Gooden highlighted grievances associated with pandemic policies.

Later on December 6, Gooden commented on the political landscape following recent elections. He stated "Kamala Harris failed to flip a single county. All 50 states shifted red from 2020. That is called a Trump mandate. The Senate must confirm every one of President Trump's cabinet nominees." His remarks emphasize what he perceives as widespread support for Trump across the nation.
