City of Tyler issued the following announcement on July 02.PM
The City of Tyler has contracted A.E. Shull and Company to repair a storm sewer pipe beneath the 3200 block of East Grande Boulevard. Construction will begin Monday, July 6 and continue through Monday, July 20.
The eastbound lanes of East Grande Boulevard will be closed from Rhones Quarter Road to Texas Highway 110 for the entire duration of construction. Eastbound traffic on East Grande Boulevard will be detoured north and south onto Rhones Quarter Road. Drivers needing to go to The Center at Grande, 3219 E. Grande Blvd. will be able to get in and out of the parking lot. Westbound traffic will not be affected by this closure.
When: Monday, July 6 through Monday, July 20 *Schedule is subject to change due to weather conditions or other unforeseen issues.
