Lance Gooden, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Texas' 5th district, has been vocal on various issues through his social media posts. On November 21 and 22, 2024, he shared his perspectives on topics ranging from crime in New York City to international relations and domestic policies.

On November 21, Gooden addressed a crime incident involving a gang member in New York City. He stated that "A Tren de Aragua gang member robbed one of Alvin Bragg's prosecutors in New York City." He further commented on the criminal's legal history by noting, "The illegal alien had SIX prior arrests this year alone." Gooden criticized the focus of prosecutor Alvin Bragg, saying, "Imagine if Bragg were focused on prosecuting actual criminals instead of his witch hunt against President Trump."

Later that day, Gooden expressed his views on international matters concerning Israel. He asserted that "Israel has every right to defend itself from barbaric Hamas terrorists." Additionally, he described the International Criminal Court's actions as unjustified: "The International Criminal Court's arrest warrant for Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu is 100% baseless." He concluded with a call to action: "We must end all American support for the ICC."

On November 22, Gooden turned his attention to domestic policy issues related to diversity initiatives within the Pentagon. He remarked that "The Pentagon is 'scrambling' to erase evidence of its DEI efforts before President Trump takes office." While acknowledging some aspects should be changed—"Pronouns in email signatures should be the only thing erased"—he emphasized that "All other records MUST be preserved!"
