On February 5, 2025, Gooden expressed concerns regarding FBI resource allocation, noting that "Five thousand out of 38,000 FBI employees worked on J6 investigations." He criticized this focus while crime persisted in major cities like New York City and Chicago and urged for the confirmation of Kash Patel.

Later that day, he thanked former President Trump for supporting women's rights in sports. In his post from February 5, 2025, Gooden stated: "Thank you, President Trump, for standing up for my daughter and women across America."

On February 6, 2025, Gooden commented on international relations concerning Iran. He praised Trump's policies by saying: "President Trump has reimposed maximum pressure on the Iranian regime." In contrast to Joe Biden's administration providing Iran with a $10 billion sanctions waiver.
