Of the 2,034 people living in Troup in 2020, 50.5 percent (1,027) were women and 49.5 percent (1,007) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Tyler Reporter.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by 69. In the 65 and over age range, there were 178 females and 127 males.
