On December 22, 2020, the City of Mineola was notified by Wood County Judge Lucy Hebron that a letter from Texas Health and Human Services has been received in her office stating that counties located within Trauma Service Area (TSA) G, which includes Wood County, have exceeded the 15% hospitalization threshold, triggering temporary changes in occupancy levels and/or closures per Gov. Abbott’s Executive Order GA-32, issued Oct. 7, 2020.
