In a tweet posted on March 28, 2025, Gooden criticized the American Bar Association for their lack of response to various legal actions involving former President Trump. “The American Bar Association was silent during the bogus indictments, the Mar-a-Lago raid, ballot removal attempts, and every other instance when President Trump was being persecuted by rogue attorneys. Now they decide to condemn? Shameful."
Another tweet from the same day reflects on the challenges faced by the American automotive industry. He suggested federal funding consequences should city officials decide to dismiss officers who collaborated with Border Patrol agents: “Police officers in Rochester, NY, assisted Border Patrol agents during an emergency traffic stop on Monday. Officials in the sanctuary city are contemplating firing the officers for their actions. Rochester should receive $0.00 in federal funding going forward."
