Lance Gooden, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Texas' 5th district, has recently shared a series of tweets addressing concerns about immigration, border crime, and economic policy under the Biden administration. Gooden's posts highlight his perspective on these issues as they relate to current political dynamics.

On March 24, 2025, Gooden expressed his criticism regarding immigration policies under President Joe Biden. He stated that "Joe Biden allowed over 10 million illegal aliens into the United States in four years." He further mentioned the impact of these policies by saying, "Crime, chaos, and billions of tax dollars drained were the results." Gooden questioned the media coverage on this issue during Biden's tenure.

Later that day, on March 24, 2025, Gooden commented on border crime statistics in Texas for the year 2023. He noted that "nearly 50,000 border crime arrests were reported in Texas." These arrests included various offenses such as DWIs and assault. Gooden criticized Democratic policies by stating that "If Democrats had their way, there would have been 0 border crime arrests in 2023."

On March 25, 2025, Gooden addressed economic investments in the United States. He pointed out that "None of the companies below announced these massive U.S. investments before January 20, 2025." According to him, this was due to an "anti-business" administration characterized by heavy regulation and taxation.
