Lance Gooden, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Texas' 5th district, has recently shared his views on various issues through a series of tweets. Gooden's posts cover topics such as illegal border crossings, political campaign expenditures, and government funding for electric vehicle companies.

On November 27, 2024, Lance Gooden tweeted about the significant number of illegal border crossings since January 2021. He stated: "Over 10.4 million illegal border crossings have occurred since January 2021. Meanwhile, fentanyl is the number one cause of death for Americans aged 18 to 45. Mexico and Canada can easily avoid tariffs by cracking down on the flow of both."

Later that day, Gooden commented on the Harris Campaign's financial management in another tweet posted at 17:54 UTC: "What we did in 107 days was unprecedented" - Blew through $1+ billion - $20 million in debt - Lost the White House, the Senate, and the House You're right, Kamala. The Harris Campaign was unprecedented.

In a subsequent tweet on November 27 at 20:37 UTC, Gooden criticized President Joe Biden's decision to allocate funds to an electric vehicle manufacturer: "Joe Biden will give $6.6 billion to electric vehicle maker Rivian. The EV company loses $39,130 for every car it sells. Remember when Democrats said America couldn't afford $5 billion for the border wall?"
