There were 368 students enrolled in Yantis ISD schools in the 2021-22 school year, 0.8% less than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2021-22 school year, 53.5% of them were boys, and 46.5% were girls.

Data also shows that the majority of students were white, representing 66.6% of the Yantis ISD total enrollment.

Yantis ISD roughly covers schools within Wood County with its main office in Yantis.

Among the two schools in Yantis ISD, Yantis School recorded the highest enrollment of 190 students in the 2021-22 school year.

The Texas education system is currently torn between public schools and taxpayer-funded private schools.

Critics argue that private schools use funds that should go to the public school system, while private school advocates claim they’re offering better education for more Texas students.
