2.6 percent of Tyler Junior College students played sports on university teams in 2017-2018

In 2017-2018, 2.6 percent of Tyler Junior College students participated in collegiate sports, according to data made available by the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES).

Tyler Junior College has a total student body of 10,106 students, of which 62 percent are women and 38 percent are men. Of these students, 174 men and 93 women represented the school by participating in one or more of the sports with teams at the school.

This total does not include students playing intramural sports.

According to NCES, 8.7 percent of students enrolled at institutions of higher education with sports teams were on teams.

The sports at Tyler Junior College with the most participants are football (76), soccer (60) and baseball (34).
