Jarvis Christian College enrolls 964 undergrads

At Jarvis Christian College, 79 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 55 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Hawkins enrolled 964 students in fall 2018, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. 5.8 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

88 percent of undergraduates are residents of Texas, and 12 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as Black or African American (76 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (11 percent).
