On December 10, 2024, Gooden criticized Letitia James for her investigation into former President Trump. He stated, "The only reason Letitia James launched a witch hunt against President Trump was to increase her name id. She is a stain on our justice system. Letitia's political lawfare must come to an end!"

Later that day, Gooden commented on the economic sentiment among small businesses following recent election results. He noted that "Small business optimism experienced the largest month-over-month increase in November since 1980," attributing this change to the outcome where "President Trump won, and Kamala Harris lost."

On December 11, 2024, Gooden addressed the issue of unaccompanied migrant children at the U.S.-Mexico border. He remarked that he had been warning about this situation since early in the Biden Administration and emphasized that "The open border has allowed traffickers to prey on and profit from vulnerable children." He called for securing the border and locating these children.
