How many Asian students were enrolled in Lindale ISD schools in 2022-23 school year?

There were 60 Asian students enrolled in Lindale ISD schools in the 2022-23 school year, 3.2% less than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Data showed that Lindale ISD schools welcomed 4,469 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, Asian students comprised 1.3% of the student body to be one of the least represented ethnicities in the district.

Lindale ISD roughly covers schools within Smith County and has a main office in Lindale.

Among the six schools in Lindale ISD schools, Lindale High School recorded the highest enrollment of Asian students in the 2022-23 school year, with a total of 20 students.

The Texas education system is currently torn between public schools and taxpayer-funded private schools.

Critics argue that private schools use funds that should go to the public school system, while private school advocates claim they’re offering better education for more Texas students.
