2019 Migration: How many people moved to Smith County?

In 2019, 6,488 people moved to Smith County from across the U.S and other countries, according to migration data from the Internal Revenue Service.

This is an increase over the year before, when 5,761 people migrated to Smith County.

The U.S. Census Bureau found migration within the country mainly flows to the South, with many people moving to areas of Florida and Texas.
