Lance Gooden, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Texas’ 5th district, has been vocal on social media regarding his stance on various political issues. In recent tweets, he expressed his views on the actions of judges and immigration policies.

On March 17, 2025, Gooden criticized what he described as “activist judges” who are allegedly trying to undermine former President Trump’s influence. He stated, “First, activist judges tried to remove President Trump from the ballot. Now, activist judges are attempting to sabotage President Trump’s agenda. They should be impeached.”

The following day, March 18, 2025, Gooden tweeted about Trump’s approach to national security and immigration enforcement. He asserted that “President @realDonaldTrump’s peace through strength approach also applies on American soil. If you’re an illegal alien terrorist in the United States, you will be deported. Zero tolerance!”

Later that same day, Gooden addressed what he perceives as differing levels of outrage between political parties regarding border security and deportation policies. He remarked that “Democrats are more outraged by President Trump deporting terrorists than they are by Joe Biden allowing terrorists to cross his open border.”
