Daniel Alders, a Republican elected to the Texas State House in 2025 representing the state’s 6th House district, posted a series of statements on his social media account on January 9, 2026, addressing issues ranging from radical Islam to government spending and Western heritage.
In one post, Alders commented on security concerns, stating: “This should tell you everything you need to know about the growing dangers of radical Islam.” (January 9, 2026).
Later that day, he reflected on generational responsibilities and cultural values. Alders wrote: “Exactly. The duty of the current generation is to reclaim the inheritance of the west – human liberty and flourishing of the individual based on the foundation of moral truth inherent in our Christian heritage.” (January 9, 2026).
He also expressed skepticism toward government programs with another statement: “Believe them when they tell you: WE WILL WASTE YOUR HARD-EARNED MONEY ON OUR GOVERNMENT PROGRAMS” (January 9, 2026).
Alders succeeded Matt Schaefer as representative for Texas’s 6th House district after being elected in 2025.
