Daniel Alders, a Republican member of the Texas State House representing the 6th district, has recently posted several comments on his social media account regarding legislative priorities and energy policy.

On March 10, 2026, Alders indicated support for potential future legislation by stating, “Definitely something we should be looking at for next session.”

Shortly after, on the same day, he shared two links without additional commentary: “https://t.co/UMXMvk7sPf https://t.co/NCVSYxhL8y”.

Later that day, Alders commented on ExxonMobil’s relocation to Texas. He wrote, “Great news!

But in moving to Texas, I hope @exxonmobil leaves their scammy ‘green new energy’ policies in NJ, fully embracing what we know to be reliable, dispatchable energy sources.”

Alders was elected to the Texas State House in 2025 and succeeded Matt Schaefer as representative of the state’s 6th House district.
