Daniel Alders, a Republican member of the Texas State House representing the 6th district, recently posted several statements on social media expressing his views on immigration, national identity, and sports. Alders was elected in 2025, succeeding Matt Schaefer as state representative.
On September 5, 2025, Alders wrote: “I’m sorry, but this is 100% anti-American. We should be happy to welcome others (legally!) to this country, but when they come here they should assimilate. Embrace our values. Our virtues. Our laws. This ‘inclusivity’ is a detriment to the American way of life, and it must”.
The following day, on September 6, he commented on the progress of a local sports team: “Two weeks ago I posted about creating momentum. @Rangers We. Are. Almost. There. #AllForTX”.
Later that same day, Alders referenced international affairs with another post: “Time for the USA to once again learn a lesson from the Brits. And NOT WALK THE SAME PATH.”
Alders has served in the Texas State House since his election in 2025 after replacing Matt Schaefer as representative for District 6.
