East Texas counties slated to share $1 million in supplementary COVID-19 aid

The East Texas Council of Government will provide $1 million in supplementary COVID-19 aid from the Office of the Governor’s Criminal Justice Division to Upshur, Harrison and Gregg counties in order to address challenges of public safety brought forth by the coronavirus.

Moran extends Smith County's stay-at-home order until April 30

TYLER – Smith County Judge Nathaniel Moran has extended the previous stay-at-home order to be in effect until April 30, aligning with Gov. Greg Abbott’s statewide directive.
